This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!!! (Ps. 118:24)
We are admonished in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to pray without ceasing, but what does that really mean? Prayer is more than an action. It’s a way of life. Pray without ceasing does not mean we should be on our knees 24-7. We would never get anything accomplished, and it is the Lord’s will that we’re productive and occupy ’til e comes (Luke 19:13). To pray without ceasing means however that in every aspect of our lives, we should engage in constant communion with our Maker. With a song in our hearts, and a prayer on our tongues, we can keep in touch with God. I pray that each of us will practice to pray without ceasing, and keep Christ as the center of all we do. God bless, and happy Sabbath.
